How to Submit a Price Change Request on Wajeeh – Shipper Guide
What is a price change request? If you are not satisfied with the platform-listed price for your booking, Wajeeh allows you to request a better deal before confirming payment. Approval is subject to the platform's consent.
Overview
The price change request option appears in Step 3 – Payment of the booking flow, after you have completed your trip and cargo details. It is represented by the "Get a better deal" button highlighted on the payment screen.
Prerequisites
Before you can submit a price change request, make sure you have completed the two steps before payment:
Step 1 – Trip Details — origin, destination, truck type, load, number of trucks, and pickup date
Step 2 – Cargo Details — cargo information, container requirements, and additional services
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1 — Complete Trip Details
On the first step of the booking flow, fill in all required trip information:
Select your booking type — Book instantly at platform-listed rates or Book using pre-decided deal rates
Select the trip type — Domestic (trips between cities within the same country) or Cross-Border (shipments across international borders)
Choose your From location and To location — for example, Riyadh → Jeddah
Optionally click Add GPS Coordinates for precise pickup and drop-off points
Under Truck & Load, select your truck type (e.g. Flatbed), load type (e.g. Steel), and container type if applicable
Enter the No. of Trucks and Load in Truck (in tonnes per truck)
Set your Pickup Date & Time
Click Continue to proceed to Cargo Details
Step 2 — Complete Cargo Details
On the second step, provide your cargo and service requirements:
Under Cargo Details, choose when to provide cargo information:
Fill Now — enter cargo details immediately
Add Later — skip for now and add details after booking
Under Container Requirements, toggle on "Is your cargo in a shipping container?" if applicable
Under Additional Services, select any that apply:
Require Proof of Delivery (POD)
Special Handling (fragile, hazardous)
Custom and Permit Handling
Would you like to insure this shipment?
Click Continue to proceed to Payment
Step 3 — Submit a Price Change Request on the Payment Screen
This is where you can request a better deal before confirming your booking.
On the Payment screen, review the Price Details section which shows:
Description (truck type and route)
Unit price per truck
Number of trucks
Subtotal, VAT (15%), and Total amount
Review the total carefully. For example:

If you are not satisfied with the price, locate the message below the price breakdown:
Not satisfied with the price? You can request a better deal. Approval is subject to the platform's consent.
Click the "Get a better deal" button (highlighted in blue, below the price summary)
A price change request will be submitted to Wajeeh for review and approval
Note: Submitting a price change request does not confirm your booking. Your booking will only be confirmed once the request is reviewed and you proceed with payment.
Step 4 — Complete the Remaining Payment Fields
While on the payment screen, also make sure the following fields are filled before submitting your request or confirming payment:
Who will help load the shipment?
Full name (required)
Phone number with country code (required)
Who will receive the shipment?
Full name (required)
Phone number with country code (required)
Notes / Terms and Conditions
Optionally write a note to the carrier or driver
Check "Mandatory terms and condition to accept the booking" if applicable
Discount Code
Enter a discount code if you have one and click Apply
Payment Method — select one of the following:
Wajeeh's Credit — use available platform credits (pay later)
Wallet — use your available wallet balance
Step 5 — Proceed or Wait for Approval
After clicking "Get a better deal":
Your request is submitted to Wajeeh for review
Approval is subject to the platform's consent — you will be notified of the outcome
If approved, the revised price will be reflected before you confirm payment
If not approved, you can proceed with the original price by clicking Pay & Book
Tip: If you have a discount code, apply it first before requesting a better deal — the discounted price may already meet your expectations.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is approval for a better deal guaranteed? No. The request is reviewed by the Wajeeh platform and approval is not guaranteed. The outcome depends on platform policies and carrier availability.
Can I still book if my price request is not approved? Yes. You can proceed with the original listed price by clicking Pay & Book at any time.
Does requesting a better deal hold my booking slot? Not necessarily. Your booking is not confirmed until payment is completed. It is recommended to act promptly to avoid losing availability.
Can I apply a discount code and request a better deal at the same time? Yes. Apply your discount code first, then use the "Get a better deal" button if the discounted price still does not meet your expectations.
Where can I track the status of my price request? Check your bookings under Bookings → Trips in the sidebar for updates on your request status.
